<br /> Mayor Floyd Mori called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the. City Conncfl te
<br /> order at 8:00 P,M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag~

<br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows:
<br />Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and Mayor'
<br />Mori were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr.
<br />Bowling, Director of Housing and Community Development, Mr. Harris, Director of
<br />Planning, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, and Mr. Walker, Assistant
<br />to the City Manager, were present.

<br /> Mayor Mori stated that item 9b - Amendment to Fees and Charges Resolution,
<br />Re: Sewer Connection Fees, would be continued to September 19, 1974, at 4:00 P.M.,
<br />P!~asanton Justice Court, 30 West Angela Street, after pre. sentation of the report.

<br /> It was moved by Councilman Kinney, an~ seconded by Councilnmn Philcox, that
<br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, be approved:

<br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for August 26 and 29, 1974.
<br />
<br />b. Acceptance of Grant Deed from Citizens Savings and Loan AssIx., for
<br /> widening of Main Street.
<br />
<br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 739, amending ArtiCle 8 (Litter), of Chapter 2
<br /> (Special Permits), Title IV (Health, Safety, Moral and. General Welfare),
<br /> of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton, relating to distribution
<br /> of newspapers and handbills on private proper~y.
<br />
<br />d. Report of the Planning Commission, Re: Action Taken on items at their
<br /> meeting of September 11, 1974.

<br /> ~pproval of lease between City and Catholic Church.

<br /> Adoption of Resolution Nc,, 74-171, approving the agreement between the
<br /> City of Pleasanton and the Amader VeIlley 3oin~ Union High School District
<br /> concerning the useage of the three tennis cour'~s located in the northeast
<br /> section of the AmAdor H~gh School parking lot, which were Jointly ~unded
<br /> by City and District.
<br />
