Council with proposals. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br /> NOES: None <br />_ ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Amicus Curiae Partictpation~ Los Angeles Suit <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember McLain, and seconded by Councilmember LoCiairs, <br /> that Resolution No. 75-130, approving participation in an Amicus Curiae brief <br /> (Property Tax Subsidy) regarding Los Angeles Suit up to $100.00, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Legislation <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report on AB-119, AB-1807, AB-807, AB-1352, AB-1587, <br /> SB-1112, and ACA-37. Council instructed the City Attorney to send letters to the <br /> appropriate legislators regarding these Bills. <br /> <br /> Briefs <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented the Appellant's Opening Brief that had Just been com- <br /> pleted by the City in the Morrison Homes Case and filed with the Court of Appeals. <br /> He also advised the City Council that Amicus Curiae Briefs were filed by the <br /> Attorney General's office and by a Brief proposed by the City of Livermore on <br /> behalf of the Cities of Arcata, Eureka, Livermore, Petaluma, Richmond, San Jose, <br /> Walnut Creek, and ValleJo. <br /> <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> Letter from Housin~ Authority~ Re: Ctty-Housin~ Authority Agreement dated 1-14-74 <br /> Mr. Edgar presented a letter from the Housing Authority regarding City-Housing <br /> Authority Agreement. This matter was referred to the City Attorney for preparation <br /> of the necessary contract. <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS <br /> Councilmember Philcox requested the City Council hold a Workshop regarding <br /> review of Volume 5, Project Report of the InterceptorSewer Project. This meet- <br /> ing is scheduled for June 23, 1975, 7:00 P.M., Pleasanton Justice Court. <br /> <br /> Councilmember McLain reported on concerns of the Pleasanton Park Villa Home- <br /> owners Association. <br /> <br /> Councilmember LeClaire reported on a meeting she artended June 2, 1975, in <br /> Los Angeles on the League of California Cities Governmental and Administration <br /> Committee, of which she is a member. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney reported on the Mayors' Conference of June 4, 1975, and stated <br /> that Pleasanton would be hosting the meeting on July 2, 1975. <br /> <br /> MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> There were no matters initiated by Council Members presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 11:20 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember <br /> Philcox, and seconded by Councilmember LoCiairs, that the meeting be adjourned to <br /> meet again in AdJourned Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on June 16, 1975. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Herlthy, LoCiairs, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 6. 6/9/75 <br /> <br /> <br />
