After discussion,.it was moved by Councilwoman LeClaire, and seconded by Council- men Herlihy, that Resolution No. 75-91, establishing that the North End of Kolln Street remain closed until such time as the full improvements to Valley Avenue extension east of Santa Rita Road are constructed or until petitioned by the residents to reopen, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney NOES: None ABSENT: None Councilman McLain stated that petitions did not always contain the true facts and that citizens should not sign any petition until they have checked with the City Council for complete information. Councilwoman stated that'with regard to petitions, she had recently been mis- quoted, and that citizens should contact her before using her name on any statement. Approval of two Septic Tanks.~ Re: DeVor Nurseries Mr. Sooby presented the staff report dated April 23, 1975, regarding this matter. Councilwoman LeClaire reiterated her concern regarding contamination from septic tanks and cited recent data to support this concern. It was moved by Councilman Philcox, and seconded by Councilman McLain, that Resolution No. 75-92, approving the application of DeVor Nurseries, Inc., for two septic tanks on a 25.56 acre parcel of land on Mohr Avenue, subject to conditions as follows: (1) That the standard septic tank agreements be approved by City Council at this time and be executed prior to issuance of a building permit on this property; and (2) That all requirements of Alameda County Health Department be complied with; and authorizing the Mayor to execute the Agreement, be adopted. Gary Jackson and Fireman Jim Glockner for their outstanding efforts in reviving his wife when she choked. .Request from Fireman's Association to hang Banner on Main Street Mr. Edgar presented request from the Fireman's Association for permission to hang a banner from the Main Street Pleasanton sign announcing the 7th Annual Fireman's Muster. Mayor Kinney reiterated his opposition to the hanging of any banner from the Pleasanton Main Street sign.
