27i The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Herlihy, Kinney, Councilwoman LeClaire, Councilman Philcox, and Mayor Mori NOES: None ABSENT: None COMMUNICATIONS Councilwoman LeClaire presented a petition she had received from residents of Val Vista regarding mail delivery. Petitioners would be advised that City action would be deferred pending decision in Grover City suit. CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS Councilman Philcox reported on the COVA meeting of January 23rd, and reminded Council members to submit their ideas regarding study areas for COVA before the February 10th meeting. Councilman Kinney reported on the Park and Recreation Commission meeting of January 22nd, at which time the Bike Trail Plan was approved. Councilman Kinney reported that he had met with staff and officials of Little Leagues regarding maintenance of the Little League fields. Councilwoman LeClaire reported on the Traffic Committee meeting of January 15th, at which time the traffic problem at Main and St. Mary's Street was dis- cussed. No recommendation was made. Mayor Mori requested the matter of traffic signal priorities be placed on the agenda for April 14th, for further review and consideration. MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS Councilman Kinney stated the three Pleasanton Ballistic Soccer Teams had competed in a Three-State Tournament in Las Vegas, and each team won in their division. It was moved by Councilman Kinney, and seconded by Councilman Herlihy, that Resolution No. 75-24, commending the three Ballistic Soccer Teams for their victory at the Three-State Soccer Tournament in Las Vegas, be adopted. It was recom~,end~d that-this matter be referred to COVA. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pending Litigation; Appointments Mayor Mori recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 11:55 P.M. Mayor Mori reconvened the meeting at 12:05 A.M. Post Office Litigation It was moved by Councilwoman LeClaire, and seconded by Councilman Philcox, authorizing the City Attorney to notify City of Santa Rosa that the City of Pleasanton supports proposal for litigation by League of California Cities against Post Office.
