271 <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Mr. Leo Heckathorn, 4202 Stanley Boulevard, addressed the Council regarding the <br />new service station located at Ray and First Streets and the traffic hazard it <br />presented. In addition, he inquired as to why a three-plex on Rose Avenue had <br />been given sewer connections when an eight-plex on Vineyard Avenue had not been <br />given sewer permits. Staff explained that the owner of the eight-plex on Vineyard <br />Avenue had not picked up his sewer permits in the time period adopted by the City <br />Council. Mr. Heckathorn also asked if Japanese Gardens could be designed at <br />Shadow Cliffs Park. He was informed this property belongs to the East Bay Re- <br />gional Park District and his request should be addressed to them. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Edgar presented the Calendar for the Council's information. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 9:00 P,M., it was moved by Councilmember <br />Philcox, and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy, that the meeting be adjourned to <br />meet again in Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on January 12, 1976. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />WILLIAM H.
