Councilmember Philcox inquired about the cost of restoration of this building. <br /> Mr. Apperson stated than an estimate would be obtained soon. <br /> <br /> Councilmember McLain requested a list of all sites of historical value in <br /> Pleasanton and the relative importance of each site. Mr. Apperson stated that a <br /> priority list would be presented to the City Council as soon as possible. <br /> <br /> Councilmember LeClaire concurred that something should be done to preserve <br /> historical landmarks. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Herlihy requested staff to investigate the ~ossibility of ob- <br /> taining Federal funds for the preservation of historical landmarks, and re~ort <br /> back to the City Council. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Herlihy declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Philcox informed Council that Alameda County has formulated a <br /> Citizens Advisory Committee for the Housing and Con~nunity Development Act at the <br /> request of the Government and has asked that each c~ty part~ctpating in the Act <br /> provide a representative to th~s Committee. He suggested that the Community <br /> Concerns Committee be involved in this matter and a representative of this organi- <br /> zation be designated as a representative of the City tc~ participate on the Alameda <br /> County Citizens Advisory Committee for the Housing and Community Development Act, <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by Councilmember Philcox, <br /> that the City of Pleasanton be representated on the Alameda County Citizens Advisory <br /> Committee for the Housing and Community Development Act by a member of the Com- <br /> munity Concerns Committee, to be selected by that Committee. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Pro Tem Herlihy <br /> NOES: None <br /> .-- ABSENT: Mayor Kinney <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember McLain, and seconded by Councilmember Philcox, <br /> that Resolution No. 75-258, approving second year funding under the Housing and <br /> Community Development Act of 1974; projects proposed for second year funding are <br /> the replacement of the Harris Acres Water Lines located along Whiting Street, Gale <br /> Avenue, and portions of Abbie, East Angels and Third Streets, and the extension of <br /> Peters Avenue from Division Street to Rose Avenue; this being a continuation of the <br /> projects begun under the first year funding of the Act, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Pro Tem Herlihy <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Mayor Kinney <br /> <br /> Application of the Plannine Commission to amend Section 2-7.08(a)~ Article 8~ <br /> Chapter 2, Title II of. t~.e ord. inance Code 0.f. th.e .City of Pleasanton to clari.fy <br /> certain permitted and conditional uses-in the C-N (Neighborhood Commercial) ... <br /> District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated December 2, 1975, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Pro Tem Herlihy declared the public hearing open. <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br />....
