Public or Instutions Mr. Harris presented his report dated October 21, 1975, regarding this matter. Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing open. Mr. Chris Beratlis, 362 Christina Court, speaking on behalf of his client Spivak Properties, stated they concurred with the staff report and conditions set forth. No one in the audience spoke in opposition to the item. Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing closed. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Philcox, and seconded by Councilmember LoCiairs, that Resolution No. 75-229, approving application of the Planning Commission for a General Plan amendment to change the General Plan de- signation of 5.2 acres o£ land located near the northeast corner of Hopyard Road and Valley Avenue from High Density Residential to Retail Business and Offices, Professional and Administrative Offices, Medium Density Residential, Public or Institutions, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LoCiairs, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney NOES: None ABSENT: None Mayor Kinney recessed the meeting at 8:45 P.M. Mayor Kinney reconvened the meeting at 8:55 P.M. Council welcomed girls from Troup 802 to the City Council meeting. There being no objections, Council considered item 7a on the agenda, next. SPECIAL REPORTS Proclaim the Week of NoVember lq-14, 1975~ as Diane Dunbar Week Councilmember Philcox commended the outstanding gymnastics performance of Diane Dunbar at the Pan American Games in Mexico City and her fine example of young people representative of our City and country. It was moved by Councilmember Philcox, and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy, te proclaim November 10-14, 1975, as Diane Dunbar Week, in Pleasanton. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney NOES: None ABSENT: None Mrs. Marcelins Mahern, 3146 Berkshire Court, presented various activities planned in relation to this event and requested City Council approval to hang a Banner beneath the PleasantonMain Street sign, designating the week of November 10-14, 1975, as Diane Dunbar Week~ 2. 10/28/75
