to R.E.G., Inc. of Hayward, in the amount of $20,927.30, including <br />alternative additives. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember McLain <br /> <br />Report Re: Pasture Land Lease Agreement <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report dated September 16, 1975. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember <br />LeClaire, that Resolution No. 75-210(a) approving the Lease Agreement <br />between the City and Mr. Robert Nielson for the 213 acres of pasture <br />land adjacent to the City's sewage treatment plant, be approved. <br />The roll call vote was as follows <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember McLain <br /> <br />Request for Approval of Band Parade Permit ~ Foothill High School <br />Mr. Walker presented his report dated September 17, 1975. <br /> <br /> Mr. Davenport, representing the Booster Club was present. <br /> <br /> After some discussion, it was moved by Mayor Kinney, seconded by <br />Councilmember Herlihy ~hat request for approval of the parade and <br />related'events be granted subject to the conditions outlined in <br />the staff report. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Philcox and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember McLain <br /> <br />Notice of Final Determination~ Re: Alternate 5b regarding Provision <br />of Sewage Treatment <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented this matter and explained the need for review <br />and certification of the EIR on this project. Mr. Scheidig reviewed a <br />summary of significant environmental effects of the project and mitigating <br />measures. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember LeClaire and <br />seconded by Councilmember Philcox that Resolution No. 75-211 approving <br />filing Notice of Final Determination, Re: Alternate 5b regarding <br />Provision of Sewage Treatment, be approved. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember McLain <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br />Mr. Edgar presented a petition to provide an area for motorcycle <br />riding which will be taken to the Park and Recreation Commission. <br /> <br />Request from the Fire Department regardin~ Banner over Main Street <br />publicizing National Fire Prevention Week <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilman Herlihy, and seconded <br />by Councilmember LeClaire that request for approval for a banner as <br />presented by the Fire Department be given. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, and Philcox <br />NOES: Mayor Kinney <br />ABSENT: Councilmember McLain <br /> <br />Delegate to League of California Cities Conference <br /> Councilmember Herlihy was designated as delegate and Councilmember <br />Philcox designated as alternate to the League of California Cities <br />Conference in San Francisco, October 19-22, 1975. <br /> <br /> -7- 9/22/75 <br /> <br /> <br />
