Adoption of Resolution 75-204, approving Reimbursement Agreement <br /> between City and Earl and Barbara Adams for Santa Rita Road Water Line. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, Philcox and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember McLain <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Protest hearing regardin~ Pleasanton County Water District~ Assessment <br />District No. l, Segregation of Assessment Nos. 2, 3~' 4~ 6~7~ '8~ 10~ 22, <br />23-'B, 24~ 25, 26~ 27 and 2~-1 <br /> Continued to October 13, 1975, 8 ~P.M., 30 West Angela Street, Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Request by Martin Conholly for removal of one black walnut tree at <br />4617 Augustine Street <br /> Mr. Sooby presented his report dated September 17, 1975, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this <br /> application. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> ICouncilmember Herlihy felt that the property owner should be aware <br />that without proper care the remaining trees on this property may be <br />in danger of deterioration. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Philcox and seconded <br />by Councilmember LeClaire, that Resolution No. 75-205, approving the <br />request of Martin Connolly for removal of one black walnut tree at 4617 <br />Augustine Street, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers LeClaire, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: Councilmember Herlihy <br />ABSENT: Councilmember McLain <br /> <br />The adoption of an ordinance extending for eight (8) months an S (Study) <br />District Classification established by Ordinance No. 761 (Placing an ap- <br />proximately 5-acre parcel located immediately .east of Hopyard Road and <br />north of Valley Avenue into an interim "S" (Study) District, as shown on <br />Zoning Unit Map No. 146). <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report, explaining thatv at anytime during <br /> the 8 months period this ordinance can be repealed, if found appropriate <br />to do so. <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> Chris Beratlis spoke in support of a report to be p.resented on this <br /> matter by the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> As no one else wished to speak, Mayor Kinney declared the public <br /> hearing closed. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded <br /> by Councilmember Philcox for the introduction and adoption of Ordinance <br /> No. 770, extending Ordinance No. 761 which placed approximately a 5-acre <br /> parcel of property located immediately east of Hopyard Road and north of <br /> <br /> -2- 9/22/75 <br /> <br /> <br />
