<br /> Mr. Kroetch presented a petition signed by the eight residents on Sylvaner
<br />Drive, objecting to granting the variance.

<br /> Mr. Dobbins stated that Lot 51 on Catawba Court would be corrected to meet
<br />City Codes since no concrete had been poured for the foundation.
<br />
<br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by
<br />Councilmember Philcox, that Resolution No. 75-177, granting the appeal of Lloyd
<br />M. Haines on behalf of H. C. Elliott, Inc., of the Board of Adjustment decision
<br />to deny application for a variance to Section 2-5.35, Article 3, Chapter 2, Title
<br />II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton, to allow construction of
<br />residences located on Lots 15 on Aramon Court, 29 on Sylvaner Drive, 43 and 44
<br />on Catawba Court, and 67 and 69 on Pomice Court; all located within Tract 3328,
<br />which would enoch into the required front yards of the respective properties,
<br />zoning for the'properties is R-1-6500 (Medium Density Residential) District, be
<br />adopted.
<br />The roll call vote was as follows:
<br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney

<br />ABSENT: None

<br /> Councilmember Herlihy suggested that the minimum dumping rate be increased
<br />to $1~00, the per cubic yard rate be increased to $2.00, and the excess revenue
<br />placed in a reserve account to be applied against the next rate increase.
