CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS Councilmember McLain reported on his trip to Sacramento this date to testify regarding ~ 2220, regarding garbage dump sites. He stated the hearing was con- tinued one week for language clarification of the Bill. Councilmember LeClaire reported on the LAVWMAmeeting of August 12, 1975, at which a xepresentative from EPA spoke regarding air quality standards and various means of ccntro!iing same~ Councilmember McLain stated that LAVWMA voted to direct staff to develop pipe size needs based on figures from the State. Councilmember Herlihy reported on the COVA meeting of August 1.4, 1975, stating discussions centered around transportation of low income and senior citizens, air quality as to what the Bay Air Air Pollution Control District could do for the Valley, and ether items of Valley interest.
