The roll call vc~e was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers LeC!aire, McLain, and Mayor Kinney NOES: Councilmember Herlihy ABSENT: Councilmember Philcox It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Mayor Kinney, to delay any decision on leasing of temporary office space for the City Attorney until review o~ the above report and study of possibility of moving other Departments to new locations such as Century House and the Corporation Yard. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmember Herlihy and Mayor Kinney NOES: Councilmembers LeClaire and McLain ABSENT: Councilmember Philcox It was moved by Councilmember McLain, and seconded by Councilmember LeClaire, instructing staff to continue efforts to negotiate a lease with the County for the Pleasanton Justice Court, and if that fails, to seek a proposed lease for commercial office space for the City Attorney~s office. Council discussion ensued regarding the possible closing of Santos Ranch Road for traffic hazard reasons. It was moved by Councilmember McLain, and seconded by Councilmember LeClaire, that the City Attorney be instructed to investigate what option the City has with regard to closing Santos Ranch Road to inhabitants of the City in the interest of public safety. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, and McLain NOES: Mayor Kinney ABSENT: Councilmember Philcox Mr~ Edgar presented s letter from the City of Livermore dated July 30, 1975, to BART Board of Directors regarding financial results of operating express bus service for the Livermore-Amador Valley. Mayor Kinney requested the City Attorney to investigate what funds have been paid to finance BART and what possibilities exist for removing the Livermore- Amador Valley from the BART District. Approval of Plans and Specifications_b_~Walnut GrOve Park~ Phase II~ and authori- zation to call for Bids Mr. Sooby presented his report dated August 13, 1975, regarding this matter.
