109 <br /> <br /> Mayor Kinney asked for any statements or testimony in opposition to the <br /> Redevelopment Plan or Final Environmental Impact Report. <br /> <br /> The following persons spoke in opposition to the Redevelopment Plan or <br /> Final Environmental Impact Report: <br /> <br /> B. T. Getton, Chairman of Citizens Against Redevelopment, on behalf <br /> of CARD, and presented a petition signed by 572 resi- <br /> dents, which read as follows: "We, the undersigned, <br /> hereby object to any determination on the proposed <br /> Redevelopment Plan being made at the Joint public <br /> hearing to be held on August 11, 1975. As property <br /> owners in Pleasanton, we hereby request that the <br /> decision be delayed for at least ninety (90) days, <br /> in order to allow adequate time for all interested <br /> citizens to examine and evaluate the proposal". Mr. <br /> Getton also presented a list of the committee members <br /> of CARD. <br /> Wallace Mayer, Jr, <br /> Thurman Caudill <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony or evidence to be received, it was moved <br />by Councilmember Philcox, and seconded by Councilmember McLain, that the Joint <br />public hearing of the Pleasanton Redevelopment Agency and the City Council on <br />the Redevelopment Plan and Environmental Impact Report for Pleasanton Redevelop- <br />merit Project, be continued for ninety (90) days, to November 10, 1975, 8:00 P.M., <br />at the Veterans Memorial Building, 301 Main Street. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 11:05 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember <br />McLain, and seconded by Councilmember Philcox, that the meeting be adjourned to <br />meet again in Adjourned Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on August 18, 1975. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> 5. 8/11/75 <br /> <br /> <br />
