109 Mayor Kinney asked for any statements or testimony in opposition to the Redevelopment Plan or Final Environmental Impact Report. The following persons spoke in opposition to the Redevelopment Plan or Final Environmental Impact Report: B. T. Getton, Chairman of Citizens Against Redevelopment, on behalf of CARD, and presented a petition signed by 572 resi- dents, which read as follows: "We, the undersigned, hereby object to any determination on the proposed Redevelopment Plan being made at the Joint public hearing to be held on August 11, 1975. As property owners in Pleasanton, we hereby request that the decision be delayed for at least ninety (90) days, in order to allow adequate time for all interested citizens to examine and evaluate the proposal". Mr. Getton also presented a list of the committee members of CARD. Wallace Mayer, Jr, Thurman Caudill There being no further testimony or evidence to be received, it was moved by Councilmember Philcox, and seconded by Councilmember McLain, that the Joint public hearing of the Pleasanton Redevelopment Agency and the City Council on the Redevelopment Plan and Environmental Impact Report for Pleasanton Redevelop- merit Project, be continued for ninety (90) days, to November 10, 1975, 8:00 P.M., at the Veterans Memorial Building, 301 Main Street. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney NOES: None ABSENT: None ADJOURNMENT There being no further business at 11:05 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember McLain, and seconded by Councilmember Philcox, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in Adjourned Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on August 18, 1975.
