Mayer, Jr., 2780 Willowten Way <br /> Jim Jordan, 7218 Stonedale Drive <br /> <br /> There being no further public testimony, Mayor Philcox declared the public <br /> hearing closed° <br /> <br /> Councilmembers Brandes and Mercer commented regarding their opposition to the <br /> 5¢ tax increase. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by <br /> Councilmember Herlihy, that Resolution No, 76-160, approving the Final 1976-77 <br /> Budget for the City of Pleasanton, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Herlthy, LeClaire, and Mayor Philcox <br /> NOES: Councilmembers Brandes and Mercer <br />v-~ ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> App~icatio~ of Willo~ West~ Inc.~ to fezone approximately 354 acres located between <br /> ~opyard Road and the Southern Pacific right-of-way opposite the intersection of <br /> Stoneridge Drive and Hopyard Road (Assessor's Parcel Numbers 941-700-1-11 and <br /> 946-3215-1-12}~ present zgning configuration of Industrial Park~ General Industrial~ <br /> 0ffice~ Service Commercial~ Freeway Commercial and predominantly Agriculture~ would <br /> be chanMed.to predominantly General Industrial~ as well as Industrial Park~ Light <br /> Indu. s.tria~20~f.ice~ Commercial Freeway and Planned Unit Development <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated June 23, 1976, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> -- After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Council- <br /> member Brandes, that Ordinance No. 790, to be read by title only and waiving further <br /> reading thereof, to fezone approximately 354 acres located between Hopyard Road and <br /> the Southern Pacific right-of-way opposite the intersection of Stoneridge Drive and <br /> Hopyard Road (Assessor's Parcel Numbers 941-700-1-11 and 946-3215-1-12), present <br /> zoning configuration of Industrial Park, General Industrial, Office, Service Com- <br /> mercial, Freeway Commercial and predominantly Agriculture, would be changed to pre- <br /> dominantly General Industrial, as well as Industrial Park, Light Industrial, Office, <br /> Commercial Freeway and Planned Unit Development, subject to the following conditions: <br /> (1) That each phase of the project as it is presented for consideration by the City <br /> shall be subject to an environmental assessment, and where such an assessment re- <br /> quires an enviromnental impact report, each such report shall contain specific <br /> references to noise, traffic, sewer, drainage, setback and landscaping, lighting, <br /> and parking, as well as the normal elements contained in an environmental impact <br /> report; (2) That each environmental impact report prepared for any phase of the <br /> project must specifically come back before the City Council for consideration of <br /> appropriate mitigation measures necessary to effectuate the environmental impact <br /> report prior to final approval of each phase and issuance of any permits which <br /> would allow the phase to proceed with development; and (3) In the event that no <br /> environmental impact report is prepared on a particular phase the City Council <br /> will be notified by the City Manager of what environmental action has taken place <br /> on the property, be introduced. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br /> NOES: None <br /> ' ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> There were no Reports of Boards and Commissions presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> 4. 6/28/76 <br /> <br /> 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
