Continue to the meeting of June 28, 1976, acceptance of Grant Deed from Barry <br /> Spivak, etal, for Public Service Easements on ParcelMap 1925. <br /> <br />k.Adoption of Resolution No. 76-139, approval of Agreement regarding 1975-76 <br /> Audit. <br /> <br />1oAdoption of Resolution Noo 76-140, approving Claims for the month of May, 1976, <br /> in the amount of $240,696~61. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> Mrs. Marie Crontno 8989 Dublin Boulevard, Hayward, representing the Dublin <br />Historical Preservation Association, stated t~at group's intention to replace the <br />mistakenly burned Fallon House with a full-sized replica on property donated by <br />Hexcel Corporation, and to hold the Pleasanton City Council responsible for suf- <br />ficient funds for restoration~ She reported on a meeting with Councilmembers <br />Herlihy and LeClaire in an effort to amicably arrive at a satisfactory conclu- <br />siono Councilmember Herlihy stated that other parties were involved in the <br />mistaken burn and should be included in this responsibility. Mrs. Cronin stated <br />she would contact the other parties to be present at the next meeting on June 15th. <br /> <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />Appeal of Dabmar Pulton~...et al~ to a decision of the Planning Commission approving <br />UP-76-9~ an application of the United Presbyterian Community Church to relocate the <br />church sanctuary and social hall from 100 Neal Street to 4300 Mirador Drive <br /> Mr. Harris presented his staff report dated June 7, 1976, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> The following persons spoke in favor of the appeal: <br /> <br /> Robert Pearson, 3590 Churchill Court <br /> David Coleman, Architect, Concord <br /> William Apperson, 530 Sto Mary Street, representing the Amador-Livermore <br /> Valley Historical Society <br /> Don Savery, 6738 Rancho Court <br /> Bonnie Kirchbaum, 303 Neal Street <br /> Dagmar Fulton, 4536 Miradot Drive <br /> <br /> The following person spoke in opposition to the appeal: <br /> <br /> Charlie Roberrs, Member of Building Committee, representing United Presbyterian Church <br /> <br /> There being n~ further public =estimony, Mayor Philcox declared the public <br />hearing closed. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No~ 76-141, denying the appeal of Dagmar <br />Fulton, etal, to a decision of the Planning Commission approving UP-76-9, an <br />applicatim~ of the United Presbyterian Community Church to relocate the church <br />sanctuary and ~ocial hall from 100 Neal Street to 4300 Mirador Drive, be adopted, <br />which more particularly sets forth the rationale for the City Council~s action. <br />The ~oll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox recessed the meeting a~ 9:50 P~M~ <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox reconvened the meeting at 10:00 P.M. <br /> <br /> 6/14/76 <br /> <br /> <br />
