In addition, it was agreed upon that $713.00 be added to the Inspection Program <br />for salary increase for the part-time Building Inspector. <br /> <br /> After considerable discussion it was also agreed that the City Council would <br />maintain a 7% of expenditures as a reserve for contingencies in the Budget. <br /> <br /> In addition, and also after considerable discussion, it was decided that the <br />following transfers would be made to the General Fund: <br /> <br /> Revenue Sharing $33,116.00 <br /> Remainder of the Street Improvement Fund 7,220.00 <br /> Administrative Fees from the Drainage Improvement Fund 6,770.00 <br /> <br /> Finally, after considerable discussion, the City Council declared its intent <br />to raise the Tax Rate by 5¢, utilizing the new Assessed Valuation figures and <br />eliminating a certain portion of the transfers made from the Capital Improvement <br />Fund to the General Fund. <br /> <br /> Mr. Edgar reviewed a tentative resolution setting forth the Counctl's action <br />in this regard and it was decided that the resolution will be presented on May <br />24, 1976, and acted upon in final form at that time. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 12:20 A.M., Mayor Philcox adjourned the <br />meeting to meet again in Regular Session at 8:00 P.M., on May 24, 1976, at the <br />Pleasanton Council Chambers, 30 West Angela Street. <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br />WILLIAM H.
