Councilmember Mercer indicated that it was his impression <br />that the City was not receiving benefit from participating in COVA and he re- <br />commended that the City withdraw. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by <br />Councilmember LeClaire, that the City withdraw from COVA. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers LeClaire and Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, and Mayor Philcox <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Philcox, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that <br />the City budget the funds for COVA activities, however, defer specific appro- <br />priation until such time as the proposed list of COVA activities was submitted <br />to the City Council° <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmembers LeClaire and Mercer <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 2. 5/3/76 <br /> <br /> <br />
