<br /> Mayor Philcox stated that it was now in order to discuss appointments to
<br /> the Housing Authority Board.

<br /> After some discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded
<br />by Councilmember Brandes, that Resolution No. 76-102, appointing Mrs. Beverly
<br />Montgomery, Building 34, Apt. 3, Komandorski Village, as the tenant represen-
<br />tative representing Komandorski Village on the Housing Authority Board, for a
<br />term of four years, said term ending May 1, 1980, be adopted.
<br />The roll call vote was as follows:
<br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox
<br />NOES: Councilmember LeClaire
<br />ABSENT: None

<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer,
<br />that Resolution No. 76-103, appointing Mrs. Cecelia Covemot, 240 Kottinger Place,
<br />#43, as the tenant representative representing K6ttinger Village on the Housing
<br />Authority Board, for a term of four years, said term ending May 1, 1980, be
<br />adopted.

<br />BUDGET WORK SESSION
<br /> Mayor Philcox then opened the Budget Session and stated that Councilmember
<br />Mercer had requested action by the City Council regarding the City's financial
<br />assistance to COVA. Councilmember Mercer indicated that it was his impression
<br />that the City was not receiving benefit from participating in COVA and he re-
<br />commended that the City withdraw.
<br />
<br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by
<br />Councilmember LeClaire, that the City withdraw from COVA.
<br />The roll call vote was as follows:
<br />AYES: Councilmembers LeClaire and Mercer
<br />NOES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, and Mayor Philcox
<br />ABSENT: None

<br /> It was moved by Mayor Philcox, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that
<br />the City budget the funds for COVA activities, however, defer specific appro-
<br />priation until such time as the proposed list of COVA activities was submitted
<br />to the City Council°
