<br /> Mayor Edward Kinney called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at
<br />8:00 P,M~, and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. The meeting was held
<br />at the Veterans Building°
<br />
<br />ROLL CALL
<br /> ~eputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows:
<br />Councilmembers Merlihy, LeClaire, McLain, Philcox, and Mayor Kinney were present.
<br />Mr. Edgar, City Manager, Mr~l Scheidlg, City Attorney, Mr~ Campbell, Assistant City
<br />Manager/Director of Public Works, Mro Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, Mr.
<br />Miller and Mr~ Walker, Assistants to the City Manager, Mr. McCloud, Acting Director
<br />of Public Safety, and Mr. Cherry, Fire Division Administration, were present.

<br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember LeClaire,
<br />that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved:

<br /> Approval of City Council Minutes for January 12 and 19, 1976.

<br /> Adoption of Resolution No~ 76-11, approving Claims for the month of December,
<br /> 1975, in the amount of $328,934.98.
<br />
<br /> Ac~ep[a~ce of Report regarding action taken by the Planning Commission on
<br /> items at their meeting of January 14, 1976.
<br />
<br /> Adoption of Resolution No. 76-12, approving Contract with Alameda County
<br /> regardlug Shelter Services, and authorizing the appropriate City officials
<br /> to execute the Contract~
