Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> I~yor Philcox declared the public hea~ing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes~ <br />that no action be taken to place into the S (Study) District the following four <br />areas: (1) an approximate 18.6 acre parcel of land located at the southeast <br />corner of Foothill Road and Bernal Avenue; (2) an approximate 66 acre parcel of <br />land located between the Pleasanton Recreation and Sports Park and the Arroyo <br />Mocho, just easterly of Hopyard Road; (3) an approximate 16 acre area located <br />between Kottinger Park on the south and Vineyard Avenue on the north just westerly <br />of Pico Avenue; and (4) the southwesterly half of the block bounded by Rose <br />Avenue, Fair Street, Division Street and Pleasanton Avenue, including all of <br />the parcels of land with frontage on Rose Avenue and the southerly two parcels <br />with frontage on Pleasanton Avenue. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None ~. <br />ABSENT: Councilmember LeClaire <br /> <br />Application of the Planning Commission to fezone approximately 120 acres of land <br />located west of Foothill Road near its intersection with Bernal Avenue .from the' <br />R-i-40~000 to the HPD (Hillside Planned Development) District <br /> Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open on this item and continued to <br />the meeting of January 3, 1977, 8:00 P.M., Pleasanton Council Chambers, 30 West <br />Angela Street. <br /> <br />Application of W. S. Bottini to rezone an approximate.8~450 square foot parcel <br />of land located at 4224 Stanley Boulevard (immediately east of the Pleasanton <br />BodX ~ho.p ~uilding) from C-S (Commercial Service) District to either the O <br />(Office) or C-C (Central Commercial) District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated December 8, 1976, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox stated that Mrs. Bottini, applicant, worked for his Bank, <br />but he had been advised that there would be no conflict of interest in this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mrs. Bottini stated she would like to have the item considered tonight, <br />without full Council attendance. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or ~.opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember <br />Brandes, that Ordinance No. 802, to be read by title only and waiving further <br />reading thereof, to rezone an approximate 8,450 square foot parcel of land <br />located at 4224 Stanley Boulevard (immediately east of the Pleasanton Body <br />Shop Building) from C-S (Commercial Service) District to either the 0 (Office) <br />or C-C (Central Commercial) District, and amending the Zoning }~p of the City <br />of Pleasanton accordingly, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember LeClaire <br /> <br /> Councilmember Herlihy stated he felt this was bad zoning but there seemed <br />to be no alternative. <br /> <br /> 3. 12/13/76 <br /> <br /> <br />
