MINUTES of THE MEETING of THE CITY COUNCIL October 26, 1976 CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG Mayor Robert Philcox called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. ROLL CALL Acting Deputy City Clerk Pat Flowers called the roll which is recorded as follows:~ Councilmembers Brandes, He~lihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox were present. Mr. Edgar, City Manager; Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney; Mr. Campbell, Assistant City Manager/ Director of Public Works; Mr. Harris, Director of Planning; and Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, were present. AGENDA AMENDMENTS There were no amendments to the agenda. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Council- member Mercer, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved. a. Approval of City Council Minutes for October 11, 1976. b. Acceptance of Report of Planning Commission regarding action taken on items at their meeting of October 13, 1976. c. Adoption of Resolution No. 76-231, accepting Grant Deeds from Morrison Homes, Parcel Map 1427. d. Adoption of Resolution No. 76-232, accepting Grant Deed from Morrison Homes, Valley Avenue at Santa Rita Road Intersection Improvements. e. Adoption of Resolution No. 76-233, accepting Grant Deed from Robert and Marjorie Brown, Public Service Easement on First Street at Pleasanton Glass. f. Adoption of Resolution No. 76-234, accepting Grant Deed from Frank Auf der Maur, et al, Stanley Blvd. Widening, Parcel Map 1453. g. Adoption of Resolution No. 76-235, accepting Grant Deed from Alvin Bernard, eta!, Vervais Avenue Widening. h. Adoption of Resolution No. 76-236, approving Agreement with Southern Pacific for relocation of Automatic Crossing Gate on Spring Street Crossing. i.
