The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Report~ Re: Public Works Employment Act of 1977 <br />Mr. Sooby reported that the City of Pleasanton would not receive any funds <br />under the Public Works Employment Act of 1977, therefore, this item should be <br />dismissed from the agenda. <br /> <br />Matters for the Information of the Council <br /> Mr Campbell presented his report dated June 6, 1977, which reflected a <br />decrease in water use. <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell presented the schedule for slurry sealing of City streets <br />beginning June 15, 1977. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />Report Re: Inconsistencies between Apperson and Nipper Sewage Disposal Agreements <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report dated June 9, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmembe~ Mercer presented his findings on this item and concluded that <br />Apperson has a good development and that. the Agreement with the City should <br />remain as is. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated he could see no valid reason why the City <br />should be involved in the Apperson development, even tho he felt it was a good <br />development. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, <br />to untable Councilmember Brandes' original motion to cancel the contract between <br />the City of Pleasanton and Apperson regarding review of operation of a private <br />sewage treatment plant. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmember Herlihy <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember LeClaire, <br />to cancel the contract for private sewage treatment disposal between the City and <br />Apperson. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes and LeClaire <br />NOES: Councilmembers Herlihy, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Consideration of Ordinance Relatin5 to Drinkin5 in Public <br /> Mr. Scheidig presented his report dated June 9, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Brandes, that Ordinance No. 822, to be read by title only and <br />waiving further reading thereof, adding Chapter 6 to Title IV (Health, Safety, <br />~brals-and General Welfare) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton <br />relating to Drinking in Public, be introduced. <br /> <br /> 8. 6/13/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
