MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> June 13, 1977 <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION RE: LABOR RELATIONS <br /> Mayor Philcox and members of the City Council met at 7:30 P.M., with <br />Mr. Campbell, Acting. City Manager; Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Miller, <br />Assistant to the City Manager; and Mr. Fleming, Industrial Employers and <br />Distributors Association; to discuss labor negotiations. <br /> <br /> CALL TO OPd]ER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Robert Philcox called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br /> order at 8:15 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox were pre- <br />sent. Mr. Campbell, Acting City Manager, Mr. Scheidig, City Attorney, Mr. Harris, <br />Director of Planning, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering Services, Mr. Miller and <br />Mr. Walker, Assistants to the City Manager, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Campbell requested that one item be added to the agenda as item 4j - <br /> Proclaim June 27-July 10, 1977, as Energy Conservation Week in Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy, <br /> that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved as amended: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 5-16-77, 5-19-77, and 5-23-77. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-157, approving Claims for the month of May, <br /> 1977, in the amount of $368,419.95. <br /> <br />c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 821, deleting Section 2-7.17(1) and amending <br /> Section 2-7.20(1)(a), Article 9, Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code <br /> of the City of Pleasanton relating to permitted uses in the I-P (Industrial <br /> Park) and I-G (General Industrial) Districts. <br /> <br />d. Proclaim June 14, 1977, as Flag Day in Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> e. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-158, authorizing the City to participate in <br /> the Local Agency Investment Fund and designating Patsy A. Lund and James <br /> R. Walker as the City officers authorized to make deposits and withdrawals. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-159, accepting work completed on the installa- <br /> tion of the traffic signal at First and Neal Streets, approving payment to <br /> Steiny and Company, 27 Sheridan Street, Vallejo, in the amount of $11,414.98, <br /> and authorizing that Notice of Completion be filed. <br /> <br /> <br />
