Matters for the Information of the Council Mr. Campbell presented certification of John McWilliams ~ Industrial Waste Inspection Grade I, and certification of Wilbur Angl~ as Collection System Maintenance Grade IV. Council instructed staff to write congratulatory letters to these two employees for the Mayor~s signature. Mr. Campbell presented a Memorandum of the Human Services Commission dated March 18, 1977, requesting Council input on the questionnaire for needs assess- ment survey. Mr. Campbell presented a letter from Valley Community Services District dated March 25, 1977, regarding V.C.S.D. Sewage Treatment Plant Expansion - Stage III. Mayor Philcox stated the Sewer Committee would be meeting early' in April to discuss this matter. REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY ~pprovai of Conflict of Interest Code Mr. Scheidig presented the report of the Deputy City Attorney dated March 23, 1977 and M~rch 24, 1977, regarding this matter, and stated this should be a matter for public hearing. Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open. No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing closed. It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that Resolution No. 77-91, approving the Conflict of Interest Codes adopted by the agencies of the City of Pleasanton, be adopted. It was moved by Councilm~mber Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 77-92, declaring that weeds, rubbish or refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton constitute public nuisances and that the same shall be abated, and setting a public hearing in regard to the same to be held in the Pleasanton Council Chambers, at 30 West Angela Street, Pleasanton at 8:00 P.M., on April 11, 1977, be adopted. 8. 3/28/77
