After discussion, ~t was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 77-22, approving the application <br />for Holding Tank for Earl Adams at 3675 Santa Rite Road, be adopted. Council- <br />member Herlihy amended his motion to include conditions for approval as follows: <br />(1) That the use of the existing holding tank for this development be considered <br />satisfactory only so long as the parcel is maintained as a single parcel of land; <br />and (2) That the property owner enter into a Standard Holding Tank Agreement <br />with the City for this proposed development, modified as necessary to provide <br />for the automatic termination of this approval in the event this building site <br />were to be split from the site containing the holding tank and be transferred <br />to a different owner than the site containing the holding tank, this agreement <br />is to be completed and executed prior to issuance of the building permit for <br />this development, and execution of this Agreement by proper City officials <br />should be authorized by City Council approval of this application. Council- <br />member Mercer amended his second accordingly. <br />Tile roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and ~yor Philcox <br />~-~OES: N~ne <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Report of the Plannin8 Commission, Re: Proposed Chan~es to I-P (Industrial Park) <br />District <br /> ~. ~mrris presented his report dated January 19, 1977, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Councilmember LeClaire expressed concern regarding the language in the <br />proposed amendment relating to parking lots. Mr. Harris indicated that the <br />reference should be to lots used in conjunction with an I-P use. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 77-23, initiating a zoning code <br />amendment to the I-P (Industrial Park) District regulations as set forth in <br />the report of the Director of Planning dated January 19, 1977, and clearing <br />up the language regarding parking lots, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Re~ort~. Re:.ProDosal for Consultant Services for ~,~in Street Traffic .Si.~nals, <br />a~d Santa Rite Road and Valley Avenue Traffic Signals <br />Mr. Sooby presented his report dated January 19, 1977, regarding this <br />ma~ter. <br /> <br /> Cou~cilmember Brandes reiterated the Council's desire to review the design <br />and concept of the traffic signals on Main Stree~ before finalization. <br /> <br /> Councilmember LeClaire suggested that the possibility of using redwood <br />stmndards be investigated if antique standards are not available, in order to <br />retain the heritage look in the downtown area. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Herlihy asked about budgeted funds for this project, and <br />requested that this information be included in future staff reports. <br /> <br /> 5. i/2~/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
