Mr. Edgar indicated that the following objectives should be met prior to <br /> l{arch 31, 1977: <br /> <br /> 1. Complete the reclamation study. <br /> <br /> 2. Complete the study on the alternate routes. <br /> <br /> 3. Select the best project. <br /> <br /> 4. If the Dublin route is selected, commit to. East Bay Dischargers <br /> authority that LA~{Awill join their project. <br /> <br /> After considerable discussion on the technical and political aspects of <br /> the project, the City Council generally agreed as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Engineers recommendation should be supported. <br /> <br /> 2. That Council should request a study on the costs on additional <br /> industrial capacity. <br /> <br /> 3. Tha~ the matter should go on the Ballot to be presented to the <br /> voters. <br /> <br /> 4. That the Joint Powers Agreement should not be amended until such <br /> time as the project is selected and financing is determined. <br /> <br />PARK A~;D RECREATIOn; C~{M!SSIO~ APPOIND[ENT <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember <br />!terlihy, that Resolution No. 77-17, reappointing Howard T.
