C. Elliott~ <br />bounded by Pico Avenue~ ~awny Way, Palomino and backing to apartments on Nortpn Wa~ <br />with the intent to place it into the Planned Unit Development District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated December 28, 1976, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Scheidig stated this item had been referred back to the Planning Commission <br />by the City Council on November 8, 1976, for their consideration of PUD Zoning on <br />this property. <br /> <br /> Bob. Butler, representing the Planning Commission, stated the Commission had con- <br />sidered the PUD Zoning designation for the subJect property hut unanimously re- <br />affirmed its previous recommendation that the property should be rezoned C-N and <br />Rbl-4000. <br /> <br /> Harry Elliott, Jr., representing H C. Elliott, Inc., stated he felt the PUD <br />Zoning would not affect development of the property and that commercial development <br />was an economical decision, not a legislative one. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded~by Council- <br />member Brandes, that Ordinance No. 807, to be read by title only and waiving further <br />reading thereof, rezoning the approximately 14 acre parcel of land located between <br />Tawny and Palomino Drives immediately east of Pico Avenue from C-N (Commercial Neigh- <br />borhood) and PUD (Planned Unit Development-Multiple Residential minimum 2500 square <br />feet per dwelling unit) District to PUD (Planned Unit Development) subject to the <br />conditions that only 6.4 acres maximum residential development may occur and that the <br />commercial shopping center be the first phase of the Planned Unit Development to <br />develope, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire,. Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Report of the Plannin~ Commission~ Re: Minor revisions to the Home Occupations <br />Ordinance <br /> Mr. Harris presented his staff report dated December 28, 1976, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember LeCIaire, <br />that Ordinance No. 808, t'o be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />amending Chapter 2 (Zoning) of Title II (Zoning and Development) of the Ordinance <br />Code of the City of Pleasanton by deleting Article 20 (Home Occupations) and adding <br />a new Article 20 relating to Home Occupations, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Report of the Plannin~ Commission Re: DesiSn and Location of BART Bus Shelters and <br />Benches, and Report of .t~e AsS. istant to th.e City Man~er Walker Re: Approval of <br />~Sreement with A.
