The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Herlihy, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmembers Brandes and LeClaire <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Review of a negative declaration for a project to develop 39 duplex structures <br />on a 10-acre site located between Hopyard Road and Valley Avenue <br /> <br />Application of Morrison Homes to rezone a 10-acre site located between Hopyard <br />Road and Valley Avenue behind the Alpha Beta Shopping.. Center and including both <br />sides of the future Northway Road from the RM-1500 and RM-2500 (High DensitX <br />Multiple Residential) Districts to the PLrD (Planned Unit Deveiopment High Den- <br />sity Residential) District. Morrison Homes is further seekins approval of a <br />development plan for the site which would contain 39 duplex structu~es~ one and <br />two S.t..ory, which could be .sold as 78 individual units. The density would be <br /> . <br />about 7.4 units per acre <br /> Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open on these two items and con- <br />tinued to the meeting of December 13, 1977, 8:00 P.M., Pleasanton Council Chambers, <br />in order to allow the Park and Recreation Commission to review the condition re- <br />garding proposed change to Heatherlark Park. Dudley Frost, representing Morrison <br />Homes, agreed to the continuance. <br /> <br />Review of a negative declaration for expansion of the existing Civic Center at <br />200 Bernal Avenue <br /> Mayor Philcox declared this item dismissed from the agenda due to its pre- <br />viously being approved. <br /> <br />Application of .~e City of Pleasanton for design review approval to enlarge the <br />existing Civic Center at 200 Bernal Ay~nue~ bY the addition of office space and <br />a meetin~ room/Council Chambers and. t~e' City Attorney's offices <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated November 18, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this application. <br /> Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Herlihy, <br />that Resolution No. 77-316, approving the application of the City of Pleasanton <br />for design review approval to enlarge the existing Civic Center at 200 Bernal <br />Avenue, by the addition of office space and a meeting room/Council Chambers and <br />the City Attorney~s offices, subject to conditions set forth in the report of <br />the Director of Planning and Community Development dated November 18, 1977, be <br />adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: Councilmember Mercer <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Mr. Harris advised Council that a geological report regarding earthquake <br />faults had been completed on this property but it would have to be confirmed <br />by the County Geologist. <br /> <br /> 4. 11/29/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
