Councilmembers presented various Committee Reports for the information of <br />the Council. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL MEMBERS <br /> Councilmember LeClaire requested that the Mission Park sign repair be in- <br />vestigated. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes requested that the Valley Trails signs be repaired. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mercer requested that the Car Wash on Stanley Boulevard be <br />cleaned up. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mercer requested that the Amador High School Parking Lot be <br />cleaned up. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mercer asked the City Attorney to brief Council on the 1-580 <br />situation. The City Attorney advised Council that the situation is in limbo <br />until the two remaining contracts are let to complete the freeway. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mercer reiterated his concern regarding traffic problems at <br />the Safeway Shopping Center. After discussion, Council concurred to wait until <br />after the traffic signal at Valley Avenue and Santa Rita Road is in operation <br />to see if it alleviates the situation. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox requested that the abandoned Pump Station on Santa Rita Road <br />be painted or torn down because of its unsightlyness. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> ~ Brown presented the Calendar for the information of the Councilmembers. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 1:00 A.M., it was moved by Councilmember <br />Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Brandes, that the meeting be adjourned. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> ~ YT0~ E.
