MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> October 25, 1977 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Robert Philcox called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to order <br /> at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox were present. <br />Mr. Brown, City Manager Mr. Campbell Assistant City Manager, Mr. Scheidig City <br /> , , , <br /> Attorney, Mr. Harris, Director of Planning, Mr. Sooby, Director of Engineering <br /> Services, Mr. Caporusso, Director of Recreation and Human Resources, Mr. Miller, <br /> and ~. Walker, Assistants to the City Manager, were present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA ~MEh~MENTS <br /> Mr. Brow-n requested that the following items be added to the agenda: <br /> <br />1. Add as item 4f - Acceptance of Two Grant Deeds from Kaiser Industries. <br /> <br />2. Add as item lla - Amendment to Section 1402 of Resolution No. 71-73, to <br /> include among the grounds for discipline the violation of the CORPUS <br /> Regulations. <br /> <br />3. Add as item 13a - Consideration of Agreement, Re: Treatment Plant Conso- <br /> lidation. <br /> <br /> CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br /> that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar together with amendments <br /> thereto, be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for October 4 and 5, 1977. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-280, approving Claims for the month of <br /> September, 1977, in the amount of $453,188.93. <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-281, approving renewal of Holding Tank <br /> Agreement for Kie-Con, Inc., 3200 Busch Road, to November 1, 1978. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 77-282, approving renewal of Holding Tank <br /> Agreement for Utility Vault Co., Inc., 800 Valley Avenue, to November !, <br /> 1978. <br /> <br /> e. Proclaim Week of November 7-13, 1977, as Veterans Week in Pleasanton. <br /> <br />f.Adoption of Resolution No. 77-283, accepting two Grant Deeds from <br /> Kaiser Industries. <br /> <br /> <br />
