Planned Residential Development <br /> Councilmember LeClaire reviewed the status of residential development in the <br />area. She also mentioned the Residential Allocation Program developed by the <br />Growth Management Committee, reviewed by the Planning Commission and currently <br />before the City Council. Councilmember LeClaire encouraged neighborhood resi- <br />dents to participate in the public hearings regarding this program. <br /> <br />Planned Commercial Development <br />Councilmember Herlihy described new commercial developments currently under- <br />way in the City and briefly discussed the status of the regional shopping center. <br /> <br />COMMUNITY DISCUSSION <br /> Members of the audience raised questions and discussion ensued regarding the <br />following: <br /> <br /> - Storage of recreation vehicles on streets and driveways. <br /> - Speed limits on Hopyard Road and speeding on neighborhood Streets. <br /> - Garbage collection procedures and garbage spillage after pickup. <br /> - The appearance of the library building at Amador Park. <br /> <br />1978-79 COOPERATION AGREEMENT FOR ALAMEDA COUNTY URBAN COUNTY HOUSING' AND <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (HCD) PROGR~ <br /> Mr. Harris presented the contract regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Resolution No. 77-262, approving the 1978-79 Cooperation Agreement for <br />Alameda .County Urgan County Housing and Community Development (HCD) Program and <br />authorizing the Mayor to execute the contract, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />ADJOUR~IENT <br /> There being no further business at 9:30 P.M., Mayor Philcox adjourned the <br />Special Meeting of the City Council, to meet again in Special Session at 7:30 P.M., <br />on October 5, 1977, at the Pleasanton Council Chambers. <br /> <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br /> <br /> C[AYTO~ · BROWN, CITY CLERK <br /> <br /> 2. 10/4/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
