He was concerned that perhaps it would entail additional costs on <br /> developments. <br /> <br /> Mr. Scheidig explained that the contract was a condition of Design Review <br /> approval and was intended to insure knowledge by developers to maintain land- <br /> scaping. The contract was before the Council since it involved the City and <br /> staff desired to make certain Council was aware of this requirement. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Herlihy, and seconded by <br /> Councilmember LeClaire, that Resolution No. 77-239, authorizing the ~yor to <br /> execute an agreement for the installation and maintenance of landscaping with <br /> l~ry Canessa and Matthew Gonsalves, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Fmyor Philcox <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> Review of negative declaration for a General Plan Amendment to change land use <br /> designation of land located between Hopyard Road and Valley Avenue from high <br /> densitX residential to medium density repidential~ .and to make changes to text <br /> of General Plan (Contd.
