Open from 5-9-77 and 5-23-77) <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated July 18 1977, regarding this matter <br /> <br /> Mr. Scheidig advised Council that Mr. Datwyler may submit a request for re- <br />zoning of this property to PUD and subsequently process a tentative and final <br />map. It was the staff's opinion that such action would not be prohibited by <br />Ordinances 825 and 826 since }~. Dat,~ryler has purchased sewer permits under the <br />existing allocation. Council concurred. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it.was moved by Councilmember LeClaire, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Brandes, to continue-Open the public hearing on appeal of the City <br />Council to a decision of the Board of Adjustment in approving Application Z-77-5 <br />of Darwin Datwyler for a Variance to Sections 2-5.35 and 2-5o36(b) of Article 3, <br />Chapter 2, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton to allow the <br />subdivision of a parcel of land into seven lots, one of which would not have the <br />required street frontage and several others which would not meet the code require- <br />ments for minimum lot depth and width, the property is located between the Arroyo <br />del Valle and the extension of the Del Valley Parkway, southeast of the inter- <br />section of the Del Valley Parkway and Harvest Road, the property is zoned RM-2000 <br />(b~ltiple Residential) District, to January 24, 1978, 8:00 P.M., Pleasanton Council <br />Chambers. <br />The roll callvote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, LeClaire, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Request of Chris Beratlis for an exception to the requirements of Section 2-16.22 <br />of the Pleasanton Ordinance Code relating to connections to the Water System of <br />the City of Pleasanton <br /> Mr. Sooby presented his report dated July 20, 1977, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Council discussion ensued regarding providing water services outside the City <br />Limits and possible annexation of this area. Councilmember LeClaire stated she <br />felt the matter should be held in abeyance until after the Growth Management Plan <br />is in effect. Mr. Campbell advised that the previous policy was to provide water <br />service to areas outside the City Limits that were formerly serviced by the <br />Pleasanton Township County Water District. Mr. Scheidig indicated that he was <br />not certain that the Council is obligated to provide water service to areas <br />within P.T.C.W.D. and would research the question. <br /> <br /> 7. 7/25/77 <br /> <br /> <br />
