Council concurred. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />Application for Septic Tank Approval for Evangelical Free Church~ 6900 V~!!e7 <br />Trails Drive <br /> Mr. Campbell presented the report of the Director of Engineering Services <br />dated May 16, 1978, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Don Sch~er, Design Committee Chairman for the Evangelical Free Church, <br />presented reasons why he felt the Septic Tank should be allowed, and displayed <br />a map showing proposed location of the Septic Tank. <br /> <br /> After considerable discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and <br />seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that Resolution No. 78-136, approvtng the <br />application for Septic Tank for the Evangelical Free Church, 6900 Valley Trails <br />Drive, subject to the following conditions: (1) That applicant connect the <br />facility on the subject property to the sewer system as soon as sewer connec- <br />tions are available; (2) the church facility use a water supply from a public <br />source; and (3) that a maintenance and enforcement agreement be worked out ~.I <br />subject to approval of the City Attorney, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: CouncilmenLBrandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Approval of Pleasanton Sports and Recreation Park Master Plan <br /> Mr. Dutchover presented the report of the Director of Engineering Services <br />dated May 17, 1978, regarding this matter, and displayed a map showing the <br />proposed plan of the Park. <br /> <br /> Mr. Stan Callon, 2868 Longspur Way, presented a letter to the Council dated <br />March 28, 1978, stating his concerns regarding night lights, noise, entrance <br />and parking. He also presented a petition signed by 64 residents of the area <br />which read as follows: <br /> <br /> "We the undersigned petition the Pleasanton City Council to amend <br /> the Sports and Recreation Master Plan, dated February 19, 1978, as <br /> follows: (1) Provide for lighted multi-use fields in the extreme <br /> northwest corner rather than the eastern location now shown; (2) <br /> Provide at least one more auto entrance in addition to the Mopyard <br /> entrance now shown. We also petition that Ordinance No. 669 be <br /> amended to prohibit in any city park: (1) Operation of gas powered <br /> model airplanes or similar devices; and (2) Operation of sound <br /> amplification equipment or devices". <br /> <br /> 7. 5/23/78 <br /> <br /> <br />
