Corley, Attorney representing the applicant, presented a brief <br />background on the subject property. tle ~lso adressed concerns of traffic cir- <br />culation and aesthetics. He stated tha~7 due to the size and shape of the parcel <br />and its proximity to other Industrial Zoning and the railroad tracks, that he <br />felt it was in the best interest of the City to rezone this property as requested. <br />Council discussion ensued regarding the type of business contemplated for the <br />parcel and various concerns and conditions. <br /> <br /> The following persons spoke in opposition to the application: <br /> <br /> Don Wyatt, 3183 Gulfstream, representing Pleasanton Meadows Homeowners <br /> Association <br /> Bill Vi~l, 3432 Beecham Court, President of the Pleasanton Meadows <br /> Homeo~mers lssociation <br /> Larry Oliverius, 3445 Beecham Court <br /> Robert Pearson, 3590 Churchill Court <br /> Bob Martinez, 3947 Churchill Drive <br /> <br /> Mr. Corley rebutted the testimony in opposition to the application, and <br /> stated he felt the proposed application was an appropriate use of the parcel <br /> due to its size, location, and proximity to other Industrial land. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> 2. 2/28/78 <br /> <br /> <br />
