He was informed by staff it would be on the agenda <br />of January 24, 1978. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated he was pleased with the report and progress of <br />the Cheese Factory in complying with the conditions of their Sewage Permit. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated he concurred with the letter from the City <br />Manager to Tri-Cities Ambulance encouraging them to locate in Pleasanton in <br />order to reduce response time. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated he felt that the business license procedure <br />should be revised to require all contractor to submit their subcontractors at <br />the time a building permit is issued in order to be able to check to see if <br />subcontractors have business licenses in Pleasanton. Staff was instructed to <br />report back on the present procedure of business licenses. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes commended the citizens of Pleasanton for their <br />voluntary efforts in reducing water usage by 19%. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox asked if money could be advanced to the Housing Authority <br />to repair the emergency alarm system at Kottinger Place, and be repaid when <br />the Housing and Community Development Act funds are received.
