Appeal of Mobil Oil Corporation to a decision of the Plannin~ Commission .denying <br />Case RZ-77-15~ the ~pplication of Mobil Oil Corporation to rezone the property <br />located at 5311 Hopyard Road from C-F (Commercial Freew~y) to C-S (Commercial <br />Service) District (Continued Open from 12-13-77) <br /> Mr. Harris presented a letter dated January 4, 1978, from Mobil Oil Company <br />requesting a continuance of this item to 1-24-78 or 2-14-78. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes objected to a continuance of this item, and moved for <br />denial of the appeal of Mobil Oil Company. <br /> <br /> No one seconded the motion. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by }~yor Philcox, and seconded by Councilmember <br />Brandes, to grant the request of Mobil Oil Company fGr a continuance of their <br />appeal to January 24, 1978, with no further continuances being allowed. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, Mercer, and ~yor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember LeClaire <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing continued Open on the review of a <br />Negative Declaration for Case RZ-77-15, the application of Mobil Oil Corporation <br />to rezone the property located at 5311 Hopyard Road from C-F (Commercial Freeway) <br />to C-S (Commercial Service) District; and appeal of Mobil Oil Corporation to a <br />decision of the Planning Commission denying Case RZ-77-15, the application of <br />Mobil Oil Corporation to rezone the property located at 5311 Hopyard Road from <br />C-F (Commercial Freeway) to C-S (Commercial Service) District (Continued Open <br />from 12-13-77), to the meeting of January 24, 1978, 8:00 P.M., Pleasanton Council <br />Chambers, 30 West Angela Street. <br /> <br />Application of. the City of Pleasanton to amend the site reg. Ulations~ sign standards, <br />and parkin8 ..and loading standards of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton <br />governing new development in the C-R (Regional Commercial) District <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated January 3, 1978, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Philcox declared the public hearing open. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> ~yor Philcox declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Ordinance No. 843, to be read by title only and waiving further reading there- <br />of, amending Section 2-7.07(a) and Section 2-7.11 or Article 8 (C Commercial Dis- <br />trict) of Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Development); Subsection 2 <br />(Offices, Commercial Uses and Places of Public Assembly in the C-N and C-R Dis- <br />tricts) of Section 2-9.16 (schedule of off-street parking space requirements) of <br />Article 16 (Off-Street Parking); and Subsection 2-9.43(c) of Article 18 (Signs), <br />Chapter 2 (Zoning), Title II (Zoning and Development) of the Ordinance Code of the <br />City of Pleasanton relating to C-R (Commercial Regional) Districts, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Herlihy, Mercer, and Mayor Philcox <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember LeClaire <br /> <br /> 4. 1/10/78 <br /> <br /> <br />
