MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> December 19, 1978 <br /> <br />INTERVIEWS FOR BOARD M~BERS ON THE PLEASANTON HOUSING AUTHORITY BOARD <br />The Mayor and Councilmembers met at 7:10 P.M., to interview the following <br />persons for consideration as Board members on the Pleasanton Housing Authority. <br /> <br /> Yvan J. Albert <br /> Marie Caughron <br /> Mel Jennings <br /> Christine T. Pearson <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> }~yor Kenneth Mercer called the Adjourned Regular Meeting of the City Council <br />to order at 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and }~yor Mercer were present. <br />Mr. Brown, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, Mr. Campbell, Director of <br />Public Works and Utilities, and Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community <br />Development, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Brown requested that item 4e - Progress Pa)~ent No. 2, Raymond J. Haug, <br />for Peters Avenue Waterline and Sewerline, be removed from the Consent Calendar <br />because the matter was not ready for payment. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brown requested that an item be added to the Consent Calendar as item 4f - <br />Schedule of Fees for Bicycle Licensing. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brown advised there would be an Executive Session at the conclusion of <br />· this meeting to discuss Personnel and Litigation. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALE~,~AR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, <br />that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, be <br />approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 11-21-78, 11-28-78, 11-29-78, and <br /> 12-5-78. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Ordinance No. 873, to rezone a two-acre parcel of land located <br /> on the south side of Black Avenue approximately 400 feet west of Cedarwood <br /> Lane from the P (Public and Institutional) District to the 0 (Office) Dis- <br /> trict, and amending the Zoning ~p of the City of Pleasanton accordingly. <br /> <br />c. Adoption of Resolution No. 78-303, approving Claims for the month of <br /> November, 1978, in the amount of $307,365.97. <br /> <br /> <br />
