At this time Council reviewed the Capital Improvement Program. <br /> <br /> Mr. Campbell presented his report dated July 3, 1978, regarding proposed <br />addition to the Capital Improvement Program for Fiscal Year 1978-79 for Rail- <br />road Track Consolidation Project. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes reiterated his request to have the heading "Expendi- <br /> r ,t · <br />tu es changed to "Appropriated" for clarification of status of funds <br /> <br /> Council took the following actions regarding the Capital Improvement Program: <br /> <br /> After discussion regarding Street Projects, it was moved by Councilmember <br />Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that the Busch Road Railroad <br />Crossing Project be removed and that staff prepare a report showing where the <br />$80,000.00 allocated to this project could be used for completion of other <br />projects. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSL~"Z: None <br /> <br /> No change was made to the Drainage Projects. <br /> <br /> Considerable discussion ensued regarding the Park Projects and the alloca- <br />tions for each proposed park project. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br />to approve the total of $348,685 for park projects, to be used as determined <br />by Council. <br />The roll call vote w~s as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, and Wood <br />NOES: Mayor Mercer <br />ABSKNT.-: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer stated he felt the money for park projects should be allocated <br />as listed in the Capital Improvement Program report. <br /> <br /> After review of the Water Projects, it was moved by Councilmember Wood, and <br />seconded by Councilmember Butler, to approve the five water projects as shown <br />in the Capital Improvement Program report. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and }~yor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Following discussion of the Sewer Projects, it was moved by Councilmember <br />Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, to approve the two sewer projects <br />as listed in the Capital Improvement Program report. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 9. 7/11/78 <br /> <br /> <br />
