Adoption of 1979-80 City. of Pleasanton Operating Budget and Capital Improvement <br />pr,o. Sram <br /> Council discussion ensued regarding discount on utilities for senior citizens. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that the City reconfirm its policy regarding 20% discount on utilities to senior <br />citizens. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Mayor Brandes, that <br />Resolution No. 79-105, approving the 1979-80 City of Pleasanton Operating Budget <br />and Capital Improvement Program, as presented in the document submitted to the <br />Council May 24, 1979, with the changes included in the report of the Assistant to <br />the City Manager-Walker, dated June 14, 1979, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes and Council commended staff for the preparation and presentation <br />of the 1979-80 Budget. <br /> <br />MJ~TTERS COI~INUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were no matters continued for decision presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There.were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Actions Taken bX the Plannin~ Commission at their Regular Meeting of June 1~, <br />~979, and by the Board of Adjustment and Design Review Board at their Regular <br />Meeting of June 14, 1979 <br /> Mr. Harris presented his reports dated June 14, 1979, and June 19, 1979, <br />respectively, re~arding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes stated he would like to have Case V-79-10, application by Robert <br />Mo!inaro for a Variance, reviewed by the City Council concerning the 20 foot ease- <br />ment back of the building for three additional parcels and the precedent setting <br />nature of this approval. Councilmember Wood concurred with Mayor Brandes. It was <br />noted that the City has a prezoning application to be heard by City Council and <br />that this Variance could be considered at the same time since the properties are <br />situated near each other. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that the <br />City Council review Case V-79-10, application by Robert Molinaro for a variance <br />from the requirements of the code to allow the subdivision of a 46,000+ sq. ft. <br />lot located at 4189 Stanley Boulevard into four parcels, three of which would not <br />have the required street frontage, one of which would not have the required lot <br />width, and one which would not have the required lot depth, zoning for the pro- <br />perty is R-1-6500 District. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> 8. 6/26/79 <br /> <br /> <br />
