The motion died for lack of a second It was moved by Mayor Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 79-106, determining that a General Plan amendment is required con- cerning the urbanization line for an ll-lot residential Planned Unit Development proposed on 55 acres of the 73 acre site located west of Foothill Road and north of Longview Drive, be adopted. Pestaria Mr. Brown presented his report dated June 21, 1979, regarding this matter. Mr. Ted Fairfield, 1811 Santa Rita Road, representing the applicant, stated his client concurred with the staff report and added that he had already requested prezoning. He stated the development would include upper cost housing. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by }~yor Brandes, that Resolution No. 79-107, indicating the City Countills willingness to annex the 35 acre property of Ernest E. Pestana and directing staff to begin annexation proceedings with LAFCO, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes NOES: None ABSENT: None Due to City Council policy regarding whether or not to continue a City Council meeting after 11:30 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, to continue the meeting and review the remaining items on the agenda.
