meeting of March 27, 1979. The Park and Recreation Commission reviewed this <br /> item at their meeting of March 28, 1979, and approved it as presented in the <br /> Capital Improvement Program. Mr. Brown advised that if Council concurred with <br /> this decision no further action was required. Council agreed with the decision <br /> of the Park and Recreation Commission that staff proceed to apply for MTC funds <br /> to complete bike paths on Stanley Boulevard and Stoneridge Drive as presented <br /> in the three year Capital Improvement Program. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> Resolution Setting Public Hearin~ on Weed Abatement ProSram for 1979 <br /> Mr. Levine presented his report dated March 29, 1979, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br /> that Resolution No. 79-48, a resolution declaring that weeds, rubbish or refuse <br /> upon or in front of certain described properties within the City of Pleasanton <br />'constitute public nuisances and that the same shall be abated, and setting a <br /> public hearing in regard to the same to be held in the Pleasanton Council Chambers, <br /> Alameda County Fairgrounds Cafeteria, Pleasanton, at 8:00 P.M., on April 10, 1979, <br /> be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> CO}~JNICATIONS <br /> There were no communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes advised that all petitions and letters received earlier regard- <br /> ing the railroad track consolidation project would be made a part of the record. <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Brown presented the Calendar for the information of the Council. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler advised he would be absent from the April 10 meeting. <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Brandes recessed the meeting at 10:15 P.M., to an Executive Session to <br /> discuss personnel. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes reconvened the meeting at 10:45 P.M. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 10:50 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember <br />Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, that the meeting be adjourned to <br />meet again in Executive Session on April 3, 1979, 5:00 P.M., at the Civic Center <br />Conference Room. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and ~yor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />CTAY~'.
