Mayor Mercer <br />instructed staff to write Assemblyman Mori and the State Finance Committee in <br />support of this legislation. <br /> <br />EnSineering Services for New Zone 7 Connection <br /> Mr. Brown presented the report of the Director of Public Works and Utilities <br />dated January 22, 1979, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, <br />authorizing the City F~nager to enter into an agreement with WRE in accordance <br />with their proposal dated January 4, 1979. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Butler, Kephart, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITYATTORNEY <br />.Approval of Draft Resolution No. 79-5 <br /> Mr. Levine presented his report dated January 17, 1979, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Kephart, <br />that Resolution No. 79-5, a resolution denying the application of Nuclear Engi- <br />neeting Company for a conditional use permit for a radioactive and chemical waste <br />storage facility at 7164 Johnson Drive, be approved as presented. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Brandes, Kephart, and ~yor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmen Butler and Wood <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />COD~NICATIONS <br /> There were no communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> 6. 1/23/79 <br /> <br /> <br />
