<br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Kephart, and seconded by Mayor
<br /> Brandes, that Ordinance No. 905, to be read by title only and waiving further read-
<br /> ing thereof, amending Title I, Chapter 1, Section 1-1.15 (Infractions) by designat-
<br /> ing additional Code Sections to be punishable as infractions rather than misdemeanors,
<br /> be introduced.

<br /> The City Attorney reviewed a Bill by Robert Beverly which would change the law
<br /> on tort liability to remove the "Joint and several" liability rules that make cities
<br /> unfairly responsible for negligance of others.

<br /> It was moved by Mayor Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, instructing
<br /> the City Attorney to send a letter supporting this Bill.
