MINUTES <br /> of <br /> TIlE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> December 23, 1980 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER - PLEDGE TO THE FLAG <br /> Mayor Kenneth Mercer called the Regular Heeting of the City Council to order at <br /> 8:00 P.M., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as follows: <br />Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer were present. Mr. <br />Walker, City Manager, Mr. Levine, City Attorney, Mr. Warnick, Director of Public <br />Works and Utilities, and Mr. Harris, Director of Planning and Community Development, <br />were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session at the conclusion of this <br />meeting to discuss labor relations and pending litigation. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br />a. Adoption of Resolution No. 80-317, accepting the proposed dedication of 1.36 <br /> acres of land from Thomas and Margaret McManus and authorizing sale of said 1.36 <br /> acres to Crocker Homes, Inc., for the sum of $51,000, ($1,000 of the proposed <br /> sale price is to cover interest on the gift from McManus), and authorizing the <br /> Mayor to execute a Grant Deed and escrow instructions. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Resolution No. 80-318, accepting Pleasanton Pump Stations No. 1 and <br /> No. 2, EPA Grant No. C-06-1082-110-01, approving final partial progress payment <br /> No. 22 to E. J. Freethy Company in the amount of $64,287.00, and authorizing <br /> filing the Notice of Completion. <br /> <br />c. Adoption of Resolution No. 80-319, approving Claims for the month of November, <br /> 1980, in the amount of $534,762.51. <br /> <br />d. Adoption of Resolution No. 80-320, approving extension and revision of Leases <br /> for City of San Francisco Water Department property as follows: (1) Land Use <br /> Permit from the City of San Francisco Water Department to the City of Pleasanton <br /> as amended by Resolution No~ 80-0482 of the Public Utility Commission of the <br /> City and County of San Francisco; (2) Lease by Kennedy Farms from the City of <br /> Pleasanton; and (3) Lease by Robert Nielsen (TN Cattle Company) from the City <br /> of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />e. Adoption of Resolution No. 80-321, approving Plans and Specifications for Sports <br /> Park Restroom and Snack Bar Building. <br /> <br />f. Adoption of Resolution No. 80-322, accepting Grant Deed from Bank of America <br /> National Trust and Savings Association, for Peters Avenue right-of-way. <br /> <br /> <br />
