135 CO~jNICATIONS There were no Communications presented at this meeting. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR Mr. Walker presented the Calendar for the information of the Council. Mayor Mercer requested that Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, and Wood prepare Minutes on the Executive Forum they will attend in Monterey, July 23-25, 1980. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 8:35 P.M., to an Executive Session to discuss potential litigation. Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 9:10 P.M. It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that the City ~ttorney and a Councilmember attend the meeting of the County Zoning Administrator on July 9, 1980, relative to the Conditional Use Permit for the proposed water slide at Shadow Cliffs Park, and to reiterate the City's current position in opposition to this facility because of traffic impacts. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember Kephart It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that the City Attorney and a Councilmember attend the meeting of the Alameda County Board of Supervisors on July 15, 1980, relative to the appeal for the extension of the gravel quarry permit. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: Councilmember Kephart ADJOURNMENT There being no further business at 9:15 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and-seconded by Councilmember Wood, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in Regular Session on July 22, 1980, 8:00 P.M., at the Fairgrounds Cafeteria.
