The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: Councilmember Kephart <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker reviewed the necessary change to the Capital Improvement Program <br />required by the approval of the five year lease purchase of the Elevated Stream <br />Fire Apparatus, which will reduce the Capital Improvement Program by approxi- <br />mately $90,000 for this fiscal year. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wood asked if this amount could be allocated to the Pico Avenue <br /> extension. No action was required or taken by Council on this <br />item. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />EmerSency Ambulance Service-Contract with Alameda Count7 <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Assistant to the City Manager dated <br />June 17, 1980, regarding this matter, stating that by all reports from the police <br />department, fire department, Valley Memorial Hospital and the County's Health <br />Care Services Agency, and as the response time data shows, Fremont/Tri-Cities <br />Ambulance Service hasbeen providing the level of service required of them. This <br />item. was informational only; no action was required or taken by Council. <br /> <br />Street Lightin~ - Creeks Bend <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report dated June 18, 1980, regarding this matter. <br />He stated that PG&E will not install the poles unless the City plans to turn them <br />on, and that the cost to the City for the nine lights in Creeks Bend will be <br />approximately $1,800. <br /> <br /> 5. 6/24/80 <br /> <br /> <br />
