After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by <br /> Councilmember Wood, that Ordinance No. 926, be introduced creating a special, <br /> one-time only exemption from the Residential Allocation Program for certain <br /> "remnant" projects so that these can be completed; projects included would be <br /> the following: <br /> <br /> .Pro.ject <br /> 79-3 Wilson, PUD-79-4 9 units <br /> 79-10 Castlewood Properties, PUD-79-9 10 units <br /> 79-12 Vintage Hills Ltd., Tract 3187 16 units <br /> 79-15 Rousseau, Tract 3297 17 units <br /> <br />The ordinance would further specify that.these additional 52 units made available <br />for development in 1980 would be offset by reducing the total available in years <br />1981, 1982, and 1983 by 18, 17 and 17 units respectively. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSE~T: None <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes thanked the staff for their work on this item the developers for <br />their cooperation and comments, and stated it was the desire of the Council to have <br />the most effective and workable Residential Allocation Program as possible. <br /> <br />Agreemenz with Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council <br /> (Continued from 11-27-79 and 1-8-80) <br /> Mayor Brandes declared this item continued indefinitely at the request of <br />Pleasanton Cultural Arts Council. <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br />ABAG Population Projections <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated January 10, 1980, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Council- <br />member Wood, that Resolution No. 80-28, endorsing "Projections 79" for planning use, <br />subject to provisions of the guidelines adopted by the Association of Bay Area <br />Governments, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmen Butler, Kephart, Mercer, and Wood <br />NOES: Mayor Brandes <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br />Actions Taken b7 the Board of AdJustment~ Design Review Board~ aqd Plannin~ Commis- <br />sion at their meetin~ of 1-16-80 <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report dated January 17, 1980, regarding this matter <br />for the information of the Council.
