231 <br /> <br />Application of the Plannin8 Commission of the City of Pleasanton for an Ordinance <br />Code amendment to Articles 19~ 25~ ~6~ and 30 of Chapter 2~.Title II which would <br />allow administrative approval of a time extension for projects which now have a <br />one-year expiration <br /> <br />On the basis of an Initial Study of the potential environmental impacts of the <br />project, the Director of Plannin8 and Connnunit7 Development has determined that <br />the.proposed .project wo~ld not hav~ ap7 potential significant adverse effects on <br />the environment and that an environmental impact report need not be prepared..... <br />This Initial Study is available for review at the Plannin~ Division~ 200 Bernal <br />Avenue~ Pleasanton. Comments on this decision may be directed to either the <br />Plannin~ staff prior to the above meeting date, or directlX to the .~it7 CoUncil <br />at the above noticed meetin~ . <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 81:129) dated April 21, 1981, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the <br />negative declaration. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed on the application and the <br />negative declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />Resolution No. 81-130, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as <br />outlined in the City's guidelines and that a Negative Declaration is appropriate for <br />an Ordinance Code amendment to Articles 19, 25, 26, and 30 of Chapter 2, Title II <br />which would allow administrative approval of a time extension for projects which now <br />have a one-year expiration, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that <br />Ordinance No. 974, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, <br />approving the application of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton for <br />an Ordinance Code amendment to Articles 19, 25, 26, and 30 of Chapter 2, Title II <br />which would allow administrative approval of a time extension for projects which <br />now have a one-year expiration, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION <br /> There were no matters continued for decision presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> SPECIAL REPORTS <br /> There were no Special Reports presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> There were no Reports of Boards and Commissions presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> 10. 4/28/81 <br /> <br /> <br />
