231 Application of the Plannin8 Commission of the City of Pleasanton for an Ordinance Code amendment to Articles 19~ 25~ ~6~ and 30 of Chapter 2~.Title II which would allow administrative approval of a time extension for projects which now have a one-year expiration On the basis of an Initial Study of the potential environmental impacts of the project, the Director of Plannin8 and Connnunit7 Development has determined that the.proposed .project wo~ld not hav~ ap7 potential significant adverse effects on the environment and that an environmental impact report need not be prepared..... This Initial Study is available for review at the Plannin~ Division~ 200 Bernal Avenue~ Pleasanton. Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 81:129) dated April 21, 1981, regarding this matter. Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the negative declaration. It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 81-130, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a Negative Declaration is appropriate for an Ordinance Code amendment to Articles 19, 25, 26, and 30 of Chapter 2, Title II which would allow administrative approval of a time extension for projects which now have a one-year expiration, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Ordinance No. 974, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, approving the application of the Planning Commission of the City of Pleasanton for an Ordinance Code amendment to Articles 19, 25, 26, and 30 of Chapter 2, Title II which would allow administrative approval of a time extension for projects which now have a one-year expiration, be introduced.
