'C 313 <br /> <br />Report regarding Affordable Housing <br /> (Contd. from 3-10-81) <br /> Mayor Mercer declared this item continued to the meeting of April 21, 1981, at <br />the request of staff. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the Calendar for the information of the Council. <br /> <br /> Several amendments were made to the Calendar. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting at 9:40 P.M., to an Executive Session to <br />discuss pending litigation. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 10:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer reported that Supervisor Don Excell had served as an ad hoc <br />negotiator in the attempt by the City and the gravel companies to work out a <br />compromise. Two members of the Council had artended several meetings without <br />success. He further reported that the City was going to take up Judge Schwazer's <br />(Judge in the LoneStar"vl Pleasanton.?case) offer to mediate or attempt to settle <br />the litigation. Peter Googtns asked some questions regarding the process. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 10:35 P.M., it was moved by Councilmember <br />Kephart, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that the meeting be adjourned to meet <br />again in Adjourned Regular Session on April 21, 1981, 8:00 P.M., Fairgrounds Cafe- <br />teria. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> R.
