Comments on this decision may be directed to either the <br />Plannin~ staff prior to the above meeting d.~te~ or directly to the City Council <br />at the above noticed meeting <br /> Mr. Harris presented his report (SR 81:90) dated March 18, 1981, regarding this <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the Negative <br />Declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Lynn Bowers, Sunol, concurred with Planning Commission and staff recommenda- <br />tions for approval, and urged Council to do likewise. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed on the application and the Negative Declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that <br />Resolution No. 81-77, determining on the basis of a review of initial environmental <br />study done for this project, that no significant environmental impact would occur <br />as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a Negative Declaration is appropriate <br />to prezone an approximately 43 acre parcel located 830 feet south of the existing <br />City Limit Line between Foothill Road and 1-680 to PUD-Low Density Residential, be <br />adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br /> 7. 3/24/81 <br /> <br /> <br />
